Class Descriptions

4-Play (Cheryl) - Advanced Step Using Four Steps

All Abs (Kadria) - 15 Minutes of Very Intense Abdominal Workout Incorporating Weights and Bosu Balls

Athletic Conditioning (Cheryl) - Designed to Improve Balance, Coordination- Incorporating Bosu Balls, Jump Ropes, and Agility Ladders

Body Sculpt (Cheryl) - Total Body Conditioning Using Free Weights, Bands, Steps and Stability Balls to Increase Strength, Muscular Endurance and Tone.

Bosu Sculpt (Gina) - Strengthen and Tone Your Body While Using Free Weights, Stability Balls and Steps.

Cardio Interval (Gina) - Mixture of Interval Training and Kick-Boxing Using Free Weights and Bosu Balls.

Pilates Plus MAT (Bobby) - A Series of Floor Exercises Based on the Pilates Method. These Include Correct Spine and Pelvis Alignment, Breathing, Concentration, Core Strength, Flexibility and Relaxation Through Efficient Muscle Control. A Variety of Movement Exercises are Performed – Seated, Standing on all Fours, or Lying on Your Back, Side or Front. Foam Rollers, Therabands, Stability Balls and Bosu’s are Added to Create a Wide Range of Exercises that Challenge the Body and Mind.

Stretch (Cheryl) - Static Stretching while Using Foam Rollers to Improve Flexibility

Strength & Serene Stretch (Jacquie) - Combine the Balance and Strength Training with the Total Body Stretch and Relaxation in this One Hour class. The First Half-Hour is Dedicated to Lower or Upper Body Strengthening and Toning Exercises While the Second Half of the Class is Nationally Acclaimed, Blissful Stretch and Relaxation Regime known as “Serene Body Stretch”

Turbo-Kick (Gina) - Dance and Funk Inspired Kick-Boxing Workout – A lot of Fun, High Intensity Booty-Shaking!!

Spin (Christy) - Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Energetic Cycle Class! All Levels Encouraged- Never Taken a Spin Class Before- Don’t Worry, Explanation of the Bike and Instruction will be provided! An Intense Workout Incorporating Bands for Upper Body As Well!~

Spin (Kadria) - Intervals!! Boost Your Metabolism and Increase Your Cardiovascular Fitness with Short High Intensity Bursts! Great for All Levels!!

Yoga (Lynn) - Movement with Breath. Self Observation without Self- Judgment and Coming to Class with a “Beginners Mind” and an Open Heart are the Encouragements that Lynn Offers as a Pathway to Peace and Well Being Through Yoga.

Zumba (Carol, Gina, Kim) - Latin Inspired, High Energy Cardio Dance Workout. Emphasis on Latin Hip-Hop and International Rhythms! Get Ready to Shake What Your Mamma Gave You!!!

Ball Room Dance (Aletia) - Aletia – Is the Real Deal- She owns and operates her own studio in Salinas (Gams Afoot) An hour of ballroom dancing classes vary week to week, examples: Rumba, Salsa, Cha-Cha, Meringue, Tango, Swing, Fox-Trot… No Partner Necessary. A fun hour of dancing and a great way to start a Friday Evening!

Kick-Boxing (Matt) - Get Ready to Sweat! Matt also owns his own Karate Studio on Lighthouse and breaks away to provide and intense cardiovascular workout using the karate-kickboxing techniques. Jab, Punch, Front Kicks, Side Kick, Round House Kicks at High Repetitions – You’ll be Begging Him for No-More!
